Our Story

Sea to Cedar Therapy was established by Adrienne Mann. Adrienne was born and raised on Quadra Island and attended middle and high school in Campbell River. She completed her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen's University in 2016, after receiving an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences at the University of Victoria. Since then, Adrienne has worked in Vancouver, Surrey, and Campbell River; for public health authorities and School District 72. Areas of practice include pediatrics, mental health and substance use services, home and community care, and leadership.

Our Approach

Adrienne's approach to occupational therapy is rooted in personalized and evidence-based practice. Adrienne is dedicated to understanding the unique needs of each individual and tailoring services to promote independence and overall well-being.

Adrienne is passionate about serving her clients to recognize their lived experience and strengths. By providing skills for engaging in self-advocacy she enables autonomy for the future. Relationship based care and providing trauma informed, culturally safe services are close to her heart.

Adrienne is joined by her husband Alex at Sea to Cedar services. Alex is a skilled trades person, currently employed as a welder and metal fabricator, with varied experience in drafting, carpentry, and project management. Alex works with Adrienne to support building and modifying environments that are accessible and inclusive. With Adrienne's experience in assessing environments, and Alex's experience in construction, they also happily work together to modify spaces to suit individuals best.
